Base Color Options

White
Our most popular material is a thin white polypropylene film. It is impervious to almost any punishment and looks beautiful on your products, delivering eye-popping color and crisp images. We print in full color at no extra cost so you can go wild.
Chrome
We also offer a stunning, reflective silver material for advanced designers. The polypropylene film is specially treated during manufacture to have a "chrome-like" finish (like the reflective silver trim on older cars). For tips on how to ensure a beautiful result, feel free to ask us for guidance.
Clear
A transparent polypropylene film that is perfect for the "no label" look, allowing the product itself to show through. It does require a little more care when designing, as strong background colors can have unexpected impacts on the result. Feel free to
ask us if this is the best option for you.

Adhesive Options

How permanent is permanent?

Our permanent adhesive has the ideal balance between a strong hold and allowance for margin of error. It is repositionable when applied and will stay on your product through constant handling. For these reasons, this is the most popular choice by our customers.

Do I need removable labels?

Our removable adhesive is designed to reduce headaches for companies that need to frequently swap out labels. Let’s say your customers return empty bottles to you for you to reuse. This adhesive makes it easy for you to remove the label and apply a new one after disinfecting.

For skinny product tubes, choose Tight Mandrel

Tight Mandrel materials have a special (more aggressive) adhesive designed to achieve a better bond on small-diameter products (such as lip balm sticks or very small bottles) where the label is intended to wrap around the product. The vast majority of containers do not need this level of adhesion and the standard BOPP should normally be used unless the application justifies it. We can help you decide the most appropriate material if necessary.

Finishing Options

Our BOPP Plastic Labels come with a thin surface layer of transparent polypropylene film (called an "over-laminate") to provide robust protection from the elements and other external influences. Both gloss and matte options provide excellent protection from abrasion and weathering, so the choice just comes down to your preferred visual appearance. Consult the table below to see which finishes are available for each label material.

Gloss Finish

Shiny, vibrant, light-catching

Matte Finish

Subtle, sophisticated, anti-glare

FAQ

What are BOPP Plastic Labels used for?

BOPP Plastic Labels are used for a wide range of products because they are strong, waterproof, and resistant to heat and cold. They are perfect for items that need to withstand handling, like beauty products, food containers, and household goods. Their durability and flexibility make them a popular choice for many different industries.

Are BOPP Plastic Labels water-resistant?

Yes, BOPP Plastic Labels are water-resistant. This means they can handle splashes, drips, and exposure to moisture without falling apart or losing their look. However, they are not designed to be submerged in water for long periods, so they are ideal for products that are refrigerated or exposed to occasional moisture.

Can BOPP Plastic Labels be removed easily?

BOPP Plastic Labels come in both permanent and removable adhesive options. If you need a label that sticks firmly and doesn’t come off, the permanent adhesive is a good choice. If you need a label that can be taken off easily without leaving a residue, the removable adhesive is the better option.
