Design for Practicality and Branding
A good label is more than a logo. It needs to communicate value, meet labeling standards, and hold up in real-world conditions.
Key elements to include:
- Product name and flavor (clearly visible)
- Ingredients list and nutrition panel
- Branding elements (color palette, logo, fonts)
- Storage instructions or “keep refrigerated” messages
- Best by date (with space for variable data printing)
Keep your design clean and high-contrast so the label remains readable even if condensation sets in. Use brand colors and consistent fonts across your product line.
Make Sure It Sticks—Literally
The type of adhesive on your label makes a big difference. Juice bottles are often stored in cold or damp environments. A standard adhesive might fail over time, especially on curved plastic or glass bottles.
Look for:
- All-temperature adhesivesthat perform well in refrigeration
- Permanent adhesivesfor products that aren’t reused or rewashed
- Surface-appropriate optionsfor glass, PET, or HDPE containers
Your label provider should help you match the adhesive to the container material and use environment.
