Custom Shape Labels for Any Product or Package

Need labels that fit your product—not the other way around? Custom shape labels give you control over how your packaging looks and performs, no matter the size or container.

Whether you’re working with jars, bottles, boxes, or something less typical, we cut every label to your exact shape using laser precision. No die fees, fast turnaround, and support from people who know labels inside and out.

Label Shapes and Sizes We Offer

Here are the standard shapes we carry—plus the option to create any custom shape you need:

  • Circle Labels Great for jar lids, round caps, candles, drinkware seals, and promotional giveaways. Circle labels naturally draw the eye inward, making them perfect for logos, symbols, or central design elements. They also work well as security seals or quality control markers.
  • Oval Labels A flexible option for bottles, tubes, jars, or wider product designs. Oval labels offer a soft, organic look that feels approachable. They’re especially popular for personal care products, health supplements, gourmet foods, and anything that benefits from a friendly, natural presentation.
  • Square Labels Clean, structured, and bold. Square labels are ideal for showcasing logos, minimalist branding, QR codes, and small-batch product lines. They fit neatly on tins, boxes, jars, and even small containers, making them a go-to for specialty foods, cannabis products, and boutique cosmetics.
  • Rectangle Labels The most versatile shape. Rectangle labels are commonly used for barcodes, ingredients, usage instructions, promotional callouts, and more. They’re perfect for wraparound bottle labeling, flat box packaging, pouches, and flexible containers where information needs to fit neatly without crowding.
  • Custom Shapes Need something outside the box? We can laser cut labels into almost any custom shape—whether it’s following your brand logo, matching your product contour, or creating a standout design. This is a great choice for industries like craft beverages, cosmetics, pet products, and specialty foods that need a label as unique as the product itself.

Sizes range from small 0.5” labels to wide-format options. If you’re not sure what works best, take a look at our Custom Label Size Guide, and our team can help you size things correctly before you order.

How We Cut Custom Shapes

At Wizard Labels, nearly all of our custom shape labels are cut using precision laser technology. This allows us to create unique shapes quickly and accurately—without the need for traditional metal dies.
In rare cases, we may use a die if it’s been specially made for a specific customer or production requirement, but for most orders, laser cutting gives you more flexibility and faster results.

  • No die fees in most cases – Laser cutting means you’re not paying extra just to get the shape you need.
  • Fast production – New shapes can be created quickly, even for smaller batch sizes.
  • Precision at any scale – Sharp, clean cuts whether you need 500 labels or 50,000.
  • Flexible design options – Complex or delicate shapes? No problem.

This approach gives you the freedom to design without restrictions—and the confidence that your labels will fit and look just right.

How Custom Shape Labels Are Used in Different Industries

Here’s how some of our customers use shape and size to make packaging work better for their products:

  • Spirits & Liquor Rectangle or custom wave-shaped labels are often used to wrap around tapered bottles or to create a front-and-back label combo. Many brands opt for a clear label with metallic accents and a cut shape that follows their logo or brand mark.
  • Health & Beauty Oval and square labels are popular for jars and tins, while contour-cut labels help products like lip balm tubes or facial cleansers stand out. Customers often use white BOPP or soft-touch matte finishes for a premium feel.
  • Candle Makers Circle labels are great for candle lids, while rectangles work well on glass containers or tins. We see many candle brands choosing kraft paper for a rustic look or using custom shapes that mimic the scent theme (like leaf-shaped labels for fall scents).
  • Sauces & Gourmet Foods Rectangle and oval labels are common on jars and bottles, with wraparound labels used to include nutritional info and branding in one label. Clear BOPP works well for a “floating” look on glass.
  • Vitamins & Supplements Rectangle labels sized to wrap around bottles are the go-to. Many customers use front-facing custom shapes to draw attention to the brand and then add a second label on the back for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order labels in any shape I want?

Yes. With our laser cutting, there are virtually no shape limitations. If you can design it, we can cut it.

Do I need to pay for a custom die?

In most cases, no. We use laser cutting for custom shapes, so there’s usually no need for a metal die—and no added die cost. If a die is ever required for a specific project, we’ll let you know upfront, but that’s rare.

What if I don’t know what size I need?

You can use our label size guide to test sizes, or contact us and we’ll walk you through it.

What materials can be used for custom-shaped labels?

We offer all our materials—including white, clear, metallic BOPP, estate paper labels, and kraft—in any shape.

Can I get a sample before I order?

Yes! We’re happy to send you free samples so you can test materials, shapes, and finishes before committing.

Are these labels machine-applicable?

Yes. If your labels need to be applied by a machine, we can set up roll direction and spacing to fit your equipment.
